Once the most popular month names, April has been overtaken by June (for girls) and August (for boys), as well as the charmingly old-fashioned May. Parents are beginning to see it once more as one of the prettiest middle name options. May was as high on the list as Number 57 in the 1880s; it's now 228 on Nameberry.

A bit syllable-heavy, but a pretty name for a springtime baby.

Spring doesn't sound half as contemporary as Winter, which has become the cool season name.
