Our first born daugher is named Mallory, we liked it b/c it was a surname, unisex, french and unpopular.
We would like a similiar name for our second daughter. But it can't start with M, or end with "e" sound.
- Aileen
Origin:
Irish variation of HelenMeaning:
"bright, shining light"Description:
Irish Aileen and Scottish Eileen may be pronounced the same way or Aileen can be pronounced with a long a at the beginning. While neither is particularly stylish, Aileen is slightly more popular and has reversed its downward slide to inch upward in the past few years, perhaps thanks to its stylish A beginning. Nicknames for Aileen include Isla, Ayla, Lee and Lena.
- Aline
Origin:
Variation of Adeline or AileenDescription:
Aline may have originated as a short form of Adeline in the Middle Ages, but it may also be a variation of the Irish Aileen or Scottish Eileen. Aline dropped off the Top 1000 in the 1950s. Fewer than 40 baby girls were named Aline in the US last year.

- Brynn
Origin:
Spelling variation of Bryn, WelshMeaning:
"hill"Description:
Brynn outshines the original Welsh Bryn in the popularity stakes. This simple, brisk name might be seen as a combination of Bree and Lynn, an androgynous-sounding choice that especially in this spelling is not truly unisex: Brynn, for boys, is not even in the Top 1000.

- Celine
Origin:
French variation of CelesteMeaning:
"heavenly"Description:
French-Canadian singer Dion made us notice this variation. Celine is also a newly-chic French fashion label.

French, short form of Nicole, feminine variation of Nicholas, GreekMeaning:

- Grier
Origin:
Scottish, spelling variation of GreerMeaning:
