Anchises Origin and Meaning
The name Anchises is a boy's name .
In Virgil's Aeneid, Anchises is a member of the royal family of Troy. Homer described him as being beautiful like an immortal and detailed how he bedded the goddess Aphrodite, with whom she had a child: Aeneas, the main character of the Aeneid. An obscure mythological name, made more usable with the cool nickname Kai.
