Dracula Origin and Meaning

The name Dracula is a boy's name meaning "son of the devil".

The infamous name Dracula technically means "son of Dracul" but since Dracul means devil in modern Romanian, we thought we'd cut right to the chase.

But Dracul also means dragon. In Bram Stoker's 1897 novel, Count Dracula is Transylvanian royalty as well as a vampire.
