Strider Origin and Meaning
Strider is a name that walks the walk. It blends into many current styles — cowboy names, aspirational word names, and intensely masculine names — and has a cool, calm, and collected aura.
Strider first appeared on the charts in 1973, but it wasn't until 2002 that it was used consistently. Most recently it was given to 31 baby boys, but Strider may, ahem, make big strides now that infamous baby namer Elon Musk used it for his son, twin to sister Azure.
