Abenaa Origin and Meaning

The name Abenaa is a girl's name of African, Ghanan, Ghanaian origin meaning "Born on a Tuesday".

The Akan people of Ghana and the Ivory Coast frequently name their children after the day of the week they were born and the order in which they were born. Most Ghanaians have a name using this system (think Kofi Annan, whose name means born on a Friday).

Abenaa is the female name for babies born on a Tuesday (the male version is Kwabena or Kobena).
