Samadhi Origin and Meaning

The name Samadhi is a girl's name meaning "concentration".

In yoga, Samādhi is a state of meditative consciousness. It has a range of interpretations, but common definitions include a state of total absorption and self-connectedness. In Buddhism, it is one of the elements of the Noble Eightfold Path required to attain nirvana.
